There is another knock-on effect from the Juventus-Napoli verdict, as Adrien Rabiot has effectively completed his ban. The Disciplinary Commission today ruled that Napoli could not prove they were prevented from travelling to Turin for the Week 3 Serie A fixture due to force majeure. Therefore, Juve were handed an automatic 3-0 win by default and Napoli docked one point. It means the game is registered as having been played, so Rabiot’s one-match ban has also been completed. The France international will therefore be available to play in Juve’s next Serie A match against Crotone.
